Stop Your Windows Password from Expiring!
November 16th, 2005When you turn on your computer, does Windows sometimes force you to change your password?
You can stop this from ever happening again! Read on:
Note: You must be logged on to your computer with administrator privileges to do the following.
- Click on the Start button.
- Right click on My Computer
- Select Manage.
- Click Local Users and Groups.
- Click on Users. (Click the + sign next to Local Users and Groups to see subfolder.)
- Right-click on the user you want to change.
- Select Properties.
- On the General tab, add a check to the Password never expires option.
- Click OK.
